Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco stepped into the new year with hearts full of love. The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star, 32, and the music producer, 36, recently got engaged, and Gomez marked New Year’s Eve by sharing glimpses of their life together on Instagram.

Gomez kicked off her slideshow with a shot of a paper plate with beans on which someone scratched "I love you" in ink. She also included a cozy selfie with Blanco, as well as a shot from a glam couple's night out in which he kissed Gomez's hand.

The singer also shared a video seemingly from the same evening, in which she and Blanco shared a smooch. Adding a playful touch, Gomez included a snapshot of the duo posing near a security monitor at a T.J. Maxx store. The carousel ended with a heartwarming photo of Gomez enjoying frozen hot chocolate with her younger sister at Serendipity 3 in New York City and a mirror selfie showcasing her sparkling engagement ring.

Days before New Year's Eve, Selena Gomez and Blanco spent their first Christmas as an engaged couple at a Hannukah party hosted by composer Benj Pasek. They cozied up together during the star-studded apartment party. Blanco and Gomez began dating in June 2023 but made their relationship public knowledge that December.

The following month, they made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the 2024 Emmy Awards. A source said in April that the couple was "so in love" at that point in their relationship. The insider said, "It's a very serious relationship, and they're making long distance work while she's in New York for work commitments"

"Benny makes her feel special and they try to see each other as much as possible," they added. "She really does feel like it’s the best she’s ever been treated by a guy, and she’s had a certain glow since they started dating."

On December 11, Gomez posted about Blanco popping the question, surprising her with a stunning, marquis diamond ring which is estimated to be 6 carats. "forever begins now..," Gomez wrote on Instagram showing off the jewelry.

"Hey wait… that’s my wife," Blanco playfully commented back.

Blanco had surprised her with her favorite meal from Taco Bell when popping the question. Following the ask, the newly engaged couple celebrated with friends and family in an "impromptu gathering."

"Benny and Selena were so excited to share the news right away with their loved ones," the source added. "It's such a true partnership between them."
