Sean Diddy behind Los Angeles wildfires? Here's what's fueling the viral theory
The wildfires in Los Angeles have destroyed thousands of homes and claimed 24 lives. Author Ally Carter has accused Sean "Diddy" Combs of being involved in the wildfires, with allegations linking the fires to human trafficking. The cause of the wi...

Former government official Catherine Austin Fitts has publicly questioned how many people connected to Sean "Diddy" Combs have been affected by the fires. “In situations like [the L.A. fires], I look at patterns,” Fitts said on her podcast. “I look at some of the communities involved ... how many of the homeowners were on the P. Diddy list?” The "Diddy List" is an unverified list of celebrities allegedly connected to parties hosted by Combs where misconduct reportedly occurred.
Fitts, who served as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President George H.W. Bush, also suggested on her podcast that the fires might not be accidental. “It's hard to conceive the original fires weren't triggered from the sky or from the suborbital platform," she stated.
Social media users have also speculated about a possible link between the fires and Combs. Some have pointed to comments made by Ally Carter, who accused Combs of assault, in a resurfaced video clip from October 2024. "Watch for those fires. Explosions make fires too,” Carter stated in the video. “Explosions make accidental fires too, and then oops, we don't know how that happened."
Currently, Diddy remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Brooklyn, awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. His bail requests have been repeatedly denied. Meanwhile, reports claiming his Los Angeles mansion was damaged in the fires have been refuted.
The two most likely causes under investigation are arson and fires sparked by utility lines. Over the past week, the flames have ravaged several densely populated neighborhoods, including Pacific Palisades and Altadena, forcing 150,000 residents to evacuate. More than 700 evacuees have sought refuge in nine shelters as firefighters continue battling the blazes.
