Saturday Night Live Nov 9 episode will be hosted by Bill Blurs
Saturday Night Live, NBC's Emmy-award winning late-night comedy show, is set to air its seventh episode of Season 50 on November 9 with a repeat stand-up comedian-actor at the helm − and days after the 2024 presidential election and Trump's win.

This Saturday's episode will be hosted by Bill Blur, marking his second time ever on the post-election show, according to NBC. Bill will co-host the show with Mk.gee as musical guest.

This weekend's 'Saturday Night Live' show is expected to strike a new tone as it looks toward a second term for Donald Trump in his first episode since his election win. This marks SNL's coverage of Donald Trump's second term.

Viewers are particularly interested in the show's opening segment, known for its political satire, and how it will set the tone for the next four years. In Episode 50 of SNL, James Austin Johnson reprised his role as President-elect Donald Trump, who claimed victory this week.

When Kamala Harris made a surprise cameo on SNL

Prior to US elections, Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” the last episode of the show before the election. Harris appeared during the cold open alongside Maya Rudolph, who regularly portrays Harris. The first five episodes of its 50th season saw a ratings spike. This Saturday night could be a little less live.

After Trump’s first election victory in 2016, Kate McKinnon, who played Hillary Clinton on the show, appeared as the losing candidate sitting at the piano and sang an almost entirely somber-and-serious version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” changing only one verse from the best-known versions of the song.

Standup comic Dave Chappelle hosted that episode. One sketch featured him and another Black comic-actor, Chris Rock, watching election returns with white liberals, who are shocked by the results, unlike their Black guests.

“This is the most shameful thing America has ever done,” white cast member Beck Bennett says at the end.
