The countdown has begun for the 2025 Ryder Cup, one of golf’s most celebrated international competitions. Scheduled for September 26–28, 2025, the event will be staged on the Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York—a venue well known for hosting the U.S. Open twice and the 2019 PGA Championship.

The Ryder Cup pits the best golfers from the United States against a star-studded European squad in a three-day contest that blends skill, strategy, and national pride. The U.S. lineup already features six automatic qualifiers who secured their spots through Ryder Cup points. These include Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Xander Schauffele, Harris English, and newcomers J.J. Spaun and Russell Henley.

The formidable Team USA has captain Keegan Bradley, who still has two discretionary picks to make. Potential candidates like Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, and Maverick McNealy provide him with intriguing options. Some have even floated the idea of Bradley naming himself as a player, which would be historic—no American captain has competed as a player since Arnold Palmer in 1963.
