Musk had earlier stated that if the Senate passed the legislation, he would establish a new political entity — the “America Party.”
What Weibo Users Are Saying About Musk vs Trump
One Weibo user, quoted by The Guardian, wrote: “If Elon Musk were to create a political party, his tech-savvy vision could bring fresh momentum into American politics. It’s a change worth watching.”Another chimed in with: “Brother Musk, you’ve got over a billion people backing you on our side.”
A third added: “When you’ve had enough, you don’t have to keep tolerating it.”
“Every day, Musk is basically live-streaming ‘How Billionaires Argue,’” joked one commenter.
“These two grown men keep bickering over petty things — and the whole world watches,” said another.
The Trump-Musk Clash Heats Up
The rift deepened after Musk declared he would launch the “America Party” if the Senate passed the controversial bill. Trump responded with sharp criticism, suggesting Musk should be deported and accusing him of receiving more government subsidies than any individual in U.S. history.
“Our country would save a FORTUNE,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Maybe we should have DOGE take a serious look at this. BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!”
Musk responded on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “So tempting to escalate this. So, so tempting. But I will refrain for now.”
