OnePlus Watch 3 release delayed due to typo
OnePlus has delayed the release of its OnePlus Watch 3 due to a typo on the imprint, changing 'Made in China' to 'meda in China.' The corrected watches will be available in April. Customers can keep the error version as a limited edition or return...

The watch's imprint mentioned "meda in China" instead of Made in China. Social media users who had spotted the "error" had earlier speculated that it was a marketing gimmick. However, the company confirmed that it was a genuine error.
Taking to X, OnePlus USA said, Oops, we’ve meda mistake! A typo slipped through and made its way onto your shiny new OnePlus Watch 3. Don't worry, it was totally unintentional. But hey, if you've already got your watch, you’ve got two options!
1. Keep it as a super limited edition (it’s one-of-a-kind, after all!)
2. Return it, no questions asked! Either way, thanks for your understanding while we get everything back in check!
OnePlus Watch 3 features several upgrades over its predecessor, including a larger 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2200 nits, a functional rotating crown, and enhanced health tracking capabilities.
Customers who pre-ordered the watch have the option to keep the units with the typo as a limited edition collector's item or return them for a corrected version. The company is also offering a $30 discount on pre-orders for the updated batch, bringing the price down to $299 from $329.
