Netflix confirms Season 3 of ‘Wednesday’: Here’s everything we know so far
Netflix has renewed 'Wednesday' for a third season, even as fans eagerly await Season 2. Premiering in two parts on August 6 and September 3, Season 2 sees Wednesday tackling a chilling new case and returning to Nevermore Academy.

More about the third season will be known after the conclusion of the second season which will debut in two parts on August 6 and September 3. The second season will pick up right where Season 1 left off.
Now more in control of her psychic powers, Wednesday dives into a chilling new case—the Kansas City Scalper—which she’s been obsessed with since childhood. But when her visions begin to malfunction, she returns to Nevermore Academy, setting the stage for another year of mayhem and mystery.
Earlier showrunner Alfred Gough confirmed that Wednesday’s supernatural abilities will remain central to the plot, and the show will take a darker, more horror-driven tone this season. According to the official synopsis of season 2, Wednesday will face a “bone-chilling supernatural mystery” that challenges both her powers and her signature deadpan wit.
Season 2 also expands the show’s universe with new characters. Steve Buscemi joins as Nevermore’s new principal, alongside new cast members Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, and Noah Taylor. Expect exciting guest appearances from Christopher Lloyd, Thandie Newton, and Haley Joel Osment. Fan favorites like Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay) and Moosa Mostafa (Eugene) will also return, ensuring the familiar dynamic among the Nevermore students remains strong.
With Season 3 now confirmed, fans can rest assured that Wednesday’s eerie adventures are far from over.
