Despite achieving success in its initial season in 2023, the series failed to maintain its viewership during the second season, which was released on June 12, two years after its first run.
Although the series performed well in its opening weeks post-release, it subsequently dropped from the viewing charts, Variety reports.
The series premise reads: "Luke Brunner is a veteran CIA operative who, up until recently, was on the verge of retirement. After his last mission in saving another operative, who just so happened to be his daughter, he's back and face to face with new villains. This one is an old flame from Luke's past who threatens to destroy the world...if she doesn't destroy his life first."
The cast ensemble included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Aparna Brielle, Guy Burnet, Andy Buckley, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris and Scott Thompson.
Nick Santora served as the creator, showrunner and executive producer of 'Fubar', whilst Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs and Scott Sullivan contributed as additional executive producers.
Netflix's recent series renewals include: Jennifer Ortega's 'Wednesday', 'Untamed,' 'Tires,' 'Ransom Canyon,' 'Virgin River,' 'Bridgerton' (two seasons), 'Forever (Four Seasons), 'The Diplomat,' and 'My Life with the Walter Boys' amongst others.
Regarding upcoming projects, Arnold is set to appear in the action film 'King Fury 2', directed by David Sandberg. The film follows the 2015 release 'King Fury'.
David Sandberg will take on the leading role in the production.
