As Republican Donald Trump is painting the electoral map of the US red, Tesla CEO Elon Musk seems to be taking it in stride—quite literally

Musk, an open supporter of Trump during this election cycle, shared a photo on his platform, X (formerly Twitter), where he stood holding a wash basin.

The post, in Musk’s trademark playful style, was his way of saying that Trump’s lead in the polls is, as he put it, "sinking in" with everyone.

This election is considered one of the most significant in recent U.S. history, with outcomes that could shape both the nation's future and global geopolitics over the next four years.

It is a neck and neck battle between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, who have 246 and 210 seats respectively. The majority mark is 270.

With vote counting underway across the U.S., Musk has made no secret of his support for Trump, contributing $75 million to Trump's Political Action Committee and participating in campaign events, including co-hosting an X-Space session with him.

In response to the current projections, Musk had posted on X, saying, "Game, set and match," hinting at Trump's anticipated success.

Users react

Elon Musk's meme itself sparked another meme fest as users reacted to his post marking their own versions.

One user photoshopped and captioned the picture saying, "Don't forget to bring Dr. Paul."

Another user said, "Every 60 seconds a minute passes Let that sink in."
