Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 is set to become the longest single cour in the anime's history, with newly listed Blu-ray details revealing that the latest installment will run for at least 14 episodes. The third season premiered on July 5, 2026, with a special two-episode debut and is currently adapting the Eris Training Arc.

According to the Blu-ray listings, the second Blu-ray volume will include Episodes 8 through 14, confirming that the season will have a minimum of 14 episodes. It remains unclear whether additional Blu-ray volumes or episodes will be announced later.

If the season concludes with 14 episodes, it will mark the longest single cour for the franchise so far. By comparison, Season 1 aired in two split cours consisting of 11 and 12 episodes, while Season 2 was also divided into two parts with 13 and 12 episodes, respectively.


Season 3 also arrived after the franchise's longest break to date, with a gap of around two years following the conclusion of Season 2. The latest season made its debut on July 5, 2026, opening with a double-episode premiere.

Cast and production details

Ryosuke Shibuya serves as the director of Season 3, while Studio Bind continues to handle the animation. Production is overseen by EGG FIRM, which was recently acquired by Sony's Aniplex.

Following the acquisition, EGG FIRM stated that its business operations would remain unchanged. The company originally established Studio Bind together with White Fox to create a long-term production system dedicated to adapting the Mushoku Tensei series. White Fox has since been acquired by AlphaPolis.

The production team has also released the non-credit opening video for the new season.
