Missile, UFO or something else? Brit’s dog-walk video captures ‘Mach 10 mystery object’

A dog walk in the English countryside has turned into an internet obsession after a British man accidentally filmed what could be an arrow, a missile — or something from another world — tearing across the sky at mind-bending speed.

Andrew Clifton, 40, was at Malvern Hills near Worcester on August 2, tossing a Frisbee for his Labrador, Dash, when his camera caught a strange, split-second streak above the clouds. At full speed, it’s almost invisible. Slow it down, and the object looks tubular, missile-like, with a glowing blue cap at the rear — yet it still blasts through the frame faster than the eye can follow.

Since posting the clip on social media and UFO forums, Clifton’s video has exploded, racking up more than 7 million views and sparking wild speculation. Some say it’s just an arrow. Others insist it’s alien tech. Clifton himself suspects a top-secret military project — and with an RAF base nearby, the theory isn’t far-fetched.



Not everyone’s convinced. One viewer claimed it was nothing more than a blade of grass flicked from the Frisbee. Another guessed it was a firework, arguing UFOs don’t leave visible flames. But believers hit back: “Covering the whole sky in a few frames? That’s Mach 10. Not a bug, not grass — something else.”

Another played down the incident saying, "Looks like a sprig of grass being flung by the underneath of the Frisbee as its rotating."

"Probably a fire work. UAP's/UFO's do not use tech that produces a flame in their exhaust; not in any video I have ever seen," guessed another.

Another opined, "Love how people say it’s a bug or blade of grass. Covering the distance of the entire visible sky in a few frames. Going Mach 10. With no visible wind ."

Whether it’s cutting-edge military hardware, a prank of nature, or visitors from deep space, one thing’s certain — Clifton’s dog Dash had no idea his game of fetch would unleash one of Britain’s strangest viral mysteries.
