Mermaid performer attacked by giant fish in front of horrified children, watch shocking video here

A young "mermaid performer" was left shocked after a giant fish attacked her in front of terrified spectators at the Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park in China. A video of the incident quickly went viral on social media.


Masha, a 22-year-old Russian performer, was swimming gracefully in an aquarium tank, wearing a bikini top and a mermaid tail. She waved at the spectators, who were watching from behind the glass, while fish swam around her. But the peaceful scene suddenly turned terrifying when a massive fish appeared above her.


As Masha slowly rose toward the surface, the giant fish lunged at her and clamped its jaws around her face. Thankfully, she was able to break free within seconds and swim upwards.

The audience was horrified and screamed in panic as the attack unfolded before their eyes.

Masha suffered injuries to her head, neck, and eye from the attack, according to reports. Despite the pain from the wound on her neck, she was reportedly forced to continue her performance in the aquarium.

Following the attack, Masha was offered £78 as "moral damages." However, her employers at the Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park allegedly asked her not to talk about the incident, trying to cover it up.
