Meet the world’s slimmest car: Narrower than a motorbike and the width of a pillow

A car skinnier than a motorbike and barely wider than a pillow? That’s exactly what mechanic Andrea Marazzi unveiled at the Panda a Pandino 2025 event in Italy. Nicknamed “Panda for One,” the vehicle is just 19 inches wide—making it officially the thinnest car in the world.

Unveiled during the 45th anniversary of the Fiat Panda (June 19–22, 2025), this single-seater electric car stunned attendees with its ultra-slim, cartoon-like appearance. Painted in pastel blue, it boasts one front headlight, thin four wheels, and two wing mirrors that make up a significant portion of its width.

Though it resembles a 2D sketch brought to life, the Panda for One is fully functional—capable of moving forward and backward, steering, and braking thanks to a compact electric motor. Inside, it features a single front seat, a tiny optional back seat for a child, manual windows, and a trunk just big enough for a small microwave.



The driver enters through a single door, and rear passengers (if any) must squeeze in from the front. The creator even joked in a viral video that his mom had “shrunk the car in the wash,” as he showcased its compact interiors, miniature vents, and signature Fiat steering wheel.

Despite its toy-like size, the car is a fully roadworthy prototype and has drawn global praise for its ingenuity. One fan called it a “work of art,” while another hailed its craftsmanship and creativity.

This quirky invention isn't Marazzi's first—he’s known for building extreme automotive creations. But the Panda for One has definitely turned heads at Pandino, attracting Fiat lovers from across Europe including France, Germany, Portugal, and Austria.
