Meet 'The Doll', the Colombian hitwoman who has been arrested for several murders, including her ex-BF
In a dramatic arrest, Colombian authorities captured 23-year-old assassin Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, known as "La Muñeca" (The Doll), in Barrancabermeja. Rodriguez, along with two accomplices, is accused of orchestrating a series of murders, i...

Rodriguez was apprehended in Barrancabermeja, where her arrest resembled a scene from a noir film. Exuding an unsettling confidence, she was paraded by authorities in what seemed more like a villain’s victory lap than a moment of justice. Her alleged crimes included masterminding a violent campaign of terror that gripped rural communities in fear.
Her notoriety peaked with the assassination of her ex-boyfriend, Deyvy Jesus, on July 23. According to police, Rodriguez orchestrated the murder with chilling precision. Posing as a reconciliatory meeting to settle a financial dispute, she lured Jesus to a secluded location. Instead of resolution, two gunmen ambushed him, firing relentlessly from a motorcycle — a deadly setup reportedly masterminded by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez didn’t work alone. Alongside her, police arrested Paula Valentina Joya Rueda, ominously dubbed "Gorda Sicaria" (Fat Hitwoman), and a third accomplice known as “Leopoldo.” Authorities also seized a cache of weapons, including a revolver and a 9mm pistol, potentially linked to the murders.
Investigators revealed Rodriguez wasn’t just an assassin but a leader within the Los de la M gang. She allegedly commanded a network of hitmen, carrying out high-profile hits with surgical efficiency. Her actions earned her the label of a "dangerous hitwoman," and her influence expanded across the region.
The arrest of La Muñeca and her accomplices marks a critical blow against the gang’s operations. "These arrests bring much-needed calm to the region," said Lieutenant Colonel Mauricio Herrera of the Magdalena Medio Police. Yet, the shadow of her violent rise lingers, a grim reminder of her deadly role in the criminal world.
As authorities work to uncover the full scope of her crimes, one thing is certain: Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez played her part in this dark, real-life drama with lethal perfection.
