'Love is in the air': Tiger Woods confirms his relationship with Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife Vanessa Trump

Tiger Woods has confirmed his relationship with the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, publishing two images on social media in a post that said, "Love is in the air."


Woods and Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., were spotted together at Torrey Pines in San Diego with her daughter, Kai. The sighting occurred as Woods arrived for the final round of the Genesis Invitational, where he serves as the tournament host and presented the winner’s trophy.


According to AP, Kai Trump attends the Benjamin School alongside Woods' children, Sam and Charlie. This week, she and Charlie participated in a prestigious junior golf tournament by invitation.

"Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together," Woods said on X, where he has 6.4 million followers.

He added: "At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts."

One photo features Woods and Vanessa Trump posing together, while another captures them lying in a hammock, her arm draped over his chest as he gazes skyward.

Speculation about their relationship had been swirling for weeks in gossip outlets. Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years, and they share five children.

Woods, who typically keeps his personal life private, surprised fans by publicly confirming the relationship. The move was reminiscent of 2013, when he and Lindsey Vonn shared photos together to announce they were dating. At the time, Woods said they did so to deter paparazzi, citing concerns for his children’s safety and a desire to devalue paparazzi images.

The confirmation comes shortly after Woods revealed on March 11 that he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon, forcing him to miss the Masters and likely sidelining him for the rest of the year.

Woods has two children from his marriage to Elin Nordegren, who divorced him in 2010 following revelations of multiple extramarital affairs. His only other public relationship was with Erica Herman, which lasted about seven years before ending in October 2022. Their split was contentious, though Herman later dropped lawsuits against Woods and the trust that owns his Florida estate, where she had been living.
