Joe Biden's last days at White House: Video of US president ordering milkshakes goes viral

A behind-the-scenes video of President Biden was released by White House staff on Thursday. The video shows moments from his final days as president.

Biden, 82, is seen ordering milkshakes at the Navy Mess.

“I’m going to miss you. I just came down to say hi, and by the way, can you make me a milkshake?” Biden asked a staffer. A staff member responded, “Yeah, just give me like five minutes.”


In another clip, a different staffer said, “A chocolate milkshake? You want one? On it, sir!” Biden is later shown walking around with the milkshake.


One X user commented, “Honestly Biden aimlessly wandering the halls of the White House slurping a milkshake is pretty much how I thought the last 4 years went. It all tracks.”

Another quipped, "Lmfao did @JoeBiden really order 2 milkshakes or did he forget he ordered and drank the first one?"

The video also shows Biden looking at a photo of himself and his grandson Beau. “Oh, that’s cute!” Biden said. He is also shown talking to staff about his salad.

A staffer offered it to him, saying, “I mean, you can have it if you want. I can get another one.”

Another clip shows a staff member mentioning pictures of Biden's "dogs and your cars." The White House posted the video on X with the caption, “You never know who you will run into around the halls of the White House.”

The video has gone viral with over 6 lakh views. Commenting on it one said, "It kind of looks like he's seeing some of that stuff for the first time..."

"This is like an add for a retirement home for people with dementia—sad thing is it has been for the last 4 years and one of the aids probably had the nuclear codes," said another.
