Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is once again in the spotlight — this time for her reactions caught on camera during a high-profile meeting at the White House. Multiple clips of her expressions have gone viral on social media.

In one widely shared video, Meloni can be seen rolling her eyes after chuckling at a joke made by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Another clip shows her making an unusual facial expression while Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz appeared to be lecturing Trump on the Ukraine conflict.

Another X user posted a different clip, commenting: “The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, just ROLLED her eyes after chuckling at Trump’s joke. Trump never fails to be an embarrassment on the world stage.”


A third video featuring Meloni from the same meeting has also been circulating online.


The Italian leader, along with other European heads of state, was in Washington for crucial talks on the ongoing Ukraine war. Meloni also drew attention when she greeted fellow leaders with a traditional ‘Namaste.’

This isn’t the first time Meloni’s reactions have sparked online debate. Back in June, during the G7 summit, a moment between her and French President Emmanuel Macron went viral. As Macron whispered something to her, Meloni leaned in to listen — only to roll her eyes afterward, a gesture that quickly set social media abuzz with speculation.

Meanwhile, during this latest Oval Office gathering, Trump remarked that the U.S. would support European efforts to monitor any peace deal in Ukraine. He later held extended talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin at a summit in Alaska, saying he hoped to facilitate a direct meeting between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
