The source cited the political atmosphere during Trump's presidency as a factor in the couple's decision to leave the United States.

DeGeneres, a former talk show host, and de Rossi are reportedly selling their Montecito home, purchased in 2019. The property, located north of Los Angeles, served as their primary residence. It remains unclear if the couple intends to sell their other Southern California properties. Riskin Partners, the real estate firm managing the Montecito listing, has not commented on the sale.
