To quench his thirst for his artistic creativity, George Clooney is all set to move to NYC to make his theatrical debut on Broadway. While the actor's decision to move to a new place towards a theatrical debut is a professional step, it has raised eyebrows, hinting at some trouble in the paradise.

Trouble in George Clooney and Amal's relationship?

Rumour mill suggests turbulence in George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney’s relationship, as per Radar Online. The report suggests that The ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star is gearing up for the Broadway adaptation of his critically acclaimed 2005 film ‘Good Night,’ and ‘Good Luck.’

These projects are scheduled to debut in March and for rehearsals of them, George is required to be in New York well before opening night, with the initial run planned until June. The stay can further be extended depending on the reception of the play.

But his loved ones have apparently been worried about the stint as it will keep George away from his family for a significant period.

Amal won't travel to US to meet George

An insider told Radar Online that George is "an absolutely doting dad," so he will "struggle" with being separated from Ella and Alexander for such a long time. His wife Amal, a celebrated human rights lawyer, won't be making frequent visits to the US owing to the studies of the children and her own hectic legal schedule.

Commenting on this long-distance relationship, a close friend of the couple shared, “George is an incredibly devoted father, so being apart from the kids for such a long time will be difficult for him. He will also miss Amal greatly, but the logistics of making this arrangement work smoothly are complicated.”

"Amal has got her hands full with her work as a human rights lawyer, and the twins are in school. They won't be able to drop everything and head over every other weekend, even with private jets at their disposal," the close pal noted.

"It has left some friends wondering if this says more about the state of their marriage. There has been talk of a possible split. Whatever the situation, the next six months will be a testing time for them both," the source said.

The source further said that George intends to fly back whenever his schedule permits, but it won't be a simple process. "It is seen by some as a vanity move because he hardly needs the money and surely time with the children as they grow up is more important," they shared.

An insider further added that George doesn’t need the money, all he wants is to spend time with his family. However, with kids in their growing phase, it’s a bold decision that has left some wondering about the current state of their marriage “This is a significant chapter for George, both personally and professionally. It’s a decision that will require understanding and patience on both sides,” added a source.
