The xAI was founded on March 9, 2023, in Nevada. It is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area and is looking to hire AI tutors to expand its database.
The Job Profile
The AI Tutors will work to improve AI models by providing data and assisting with language learning, including Hindi. The job involves creating quality, well-labeled data to enhance AI in both English and other languages. This includes several languages such as Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, German, Russian, Italian, French, Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Persian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Candidates should have experience in technical writing, journalism, or professional writing. Proficiency in both English and the additional language is required. "Strong research skills, and the ability to navigate various sources of information, databases, and online resources in both English and additional language are essential,” the job description states.
Pay Package
The pay ranges from $35 to $65 per hour, and full-time employees will receive benefits such as medical, vision, dental coverage, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm local time. However, do note that it is a temporary yet full-time job and you have to work remotely.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup is seeking new funding at a roughly $40 billion valuation. Musk has sought to compete with OpenAI, the current AI leader, most recently valued at $157 billion. Musk, a co-founder of OpenAI, broke ranks with the startup and in recent years has criticized its approach to building AI.
