Dyson CameraJet availability: When will it launch in India?
The Dyson Dental System is currently being introduced in select markets. Dyson has not yet confirmed an India launch date and said further details will be announced closer to availability.Dyson CameraJet features: AI-powered camera and gap detection
The CameraJet comes with an integrated 100,000-pixel macro-lens camera powered by Dyson's Gap Optical Targeting technology. The machine learning system scans 28 live images per second to detect, track and predict gaps between teeth.Once a gap is detected, the toothbrush can identify and target it within 100 milliseconds. It then releases a conical burst of mouthrinse into the gap, allowing users to clean between their teeth while brushing.
The system uses 16 million lines of code and a machine learning model trained on 470,000 dental images collected during development.
Conical jet designed to target gaps
Dyson CameraJet uses a broad, conical-shaped spray designed to cover a wider area and remove plaque from between teeth. Dyson said the jet is optimised to operate at lower pressure to be gentler on gums and enamel. The toothbrush has a 12.5ml mouthrinse tank that dispenses the recommended amount of mouthrinse for a cleaning session. An anti-gravity tank, diaphragm pump and pressure chamber work together to provide controlled jets regardless of the device's orientation.
MyDyson app connectivity
The smart toothbrush supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Through the MyDyson app, users can access guided cleaning sessions, how-to videos, brushing and flossing insights, coverage mapping and personalised feedback.Docking station and brush head
The CameraJet comes with a docking station that charges the device and provides an upright storage area. Its brush head features a sonic dampener designed to improve acoustics and comfort. The toothbrush also uses sonic oscillation technology that varies the angle of movement while brushing.
Mouthrinse and toothpaste flavours
Dyson will offer the mouthrinse and toothpaste in two flavours — Ginger Mint and Spearmint. The company said both flavours have been developed to work together and provide a balanced and refreshing cleaning experience without an overpowering taste.
What Dyson said about CameraJet
