Dubai: One killed after debris from aerial interception falls on vehicle in Al Barsha area
The Dubai Media Office has confirmed that debris from an aerial interception fell onto a vehicle in the Al Barsha area, resulting in the death of a Pakistani driver.

Dubai authorities also reported, via a post on X, a minor incident on the façade of a tower in Dubai Marina, with no injuries sustained.

As the conflict intensifies across West Asia and the Gulf, the IRNA cited the IRGC on Sunday as stating that a refinery in Haifa had been struck. The post on X read: “IRGC: The Haifa refinery was hit by Kheibarshekan missiles.”

The President of the UAE posted on X, addressing residents and visitors:

"To all those who call the UAE home and guests in our beloved nation: The UAE places the safety and security of all citizens, residents, and visitors as its highest priority. With God’s grace, the UAE is fully prepared to confront any threats."

Al Jazeera Breaking reported that air strikes had targeted an oil storage facility in Tehran. The outlet also noted that Hezbollah had launched missiles at the Haifa naval base and targeted Kiryat Shmona with rocket fire.

Citing IDF sources, the Jerusalem Post reported that on Saturday evening, the Israeli Air Force struck key oil installations in the Tehran region of Iran. According to the sources, the facilities attacked are directly linked to Iran’s military-industrial complex.

Earlier, the IRNA posted on X that Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, citing intelligence from Iran’s armed forces, stated: “Certain regional territories are being made available to our adversaries, both overtly and covertly, and are being used to launch attacks against Iran. Retaliatory strikes against these positions will continue. This policy has full consensus between the government and all branches of the establishment.”

The ongoing conflict in West Asia has now drawn in multiple Gulf countries.

These developments follow escalating tensions after a joint US-Israel military strike on 28 February in Iranian territory resulted in the deaths of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior officials, prompting a strong response from Tehran.

In retaliation, Iran has launched ballistic missiles and drones at US assets and allies across the region, including Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan. The situation has significantly widened the West Asia conflict, increasing risks for both civilians and expatriates.
