A listing on German CineStar, a cinema chain, shows an "Untitled Crunchyroll/Sony/Aniplex Event Film" described as the "Kimetsu no Yaiba 'Infinity Castle Arc' Movie" with a September 25, 2025 release date in Germany. This follows a now-deleted listing on Sony's website with a similar description. Social media fan pages are buzzing with speculation based on these listings.
The movie follows Tanjiro Kamado's journey as a demon slayer. Crunchyroll’s official synopsis states, “It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.”
The "Infinity Castle Arc" sees Tanjiro and the Hashira facing Muzan Kibutsuji inside the Infinity Castle. Haruo Sotozaki is directing the film, with Akira Matsushima as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer. Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina are composing the music.
Previous seasons of "Demon Slayer" are currently streaming on Netflix, JioCinema, and Crunchyroll.
