The purpose of talks in Malaysia on Monday is to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the conflict with Thailand, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet posted on social media platform X, as fighting at the disputed border extended into a fifth day.

Leaders of the two countries are expected to take part in talks hosted by Malaysia on Monday afternoon, with U.S. officials present to assist with peace efforts.
