Beloved country music singer Brian “Nashville” Duckworth has died at the age of 56. Duckworth, who was from West Virginia, was known for performing with his family band, Taylor Made.

According to his official obituary, Brian “Nashville” Neil Duckworth, 56, of Clarksburg, West Virginia, formerly of Grafton, died at his home on Monday, September 7, 2026. The obituary does not disclose the cause of his death.

"Family and friends can pay their respects at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, West Virginia, on Sunday, September 13, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday, September 14, from 9 a.m. until noon, followed by the funeral service. Pastor Baron Claypool will officiate. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden," the obituary added.

All about Brian “Nashville” Duckworth

Brian “Nashville” Duckworth was born on December 8, 1969, in Grafton, West Virginia, to the late Allen Junior and Charlotte Eloise Peters Duckworth. He is survived by his wife, Tina Scheuvront Duckworth. The couple married on October 1, 2010, and had spent more than 15 years together.

Outside music, Duckworth worked as a dump truck driver for Wolfe’s Excavating, where he was known as the “Truck Boss.” According to his obituary, he enjoyed the job because it allowed him to spend time outdoors. Music remained another important part of his life. He performed with his family band, Taylor Made, and his love of singing earned him the affectionate nickname “Nashville.”

Above all, Duckworth cherished his family and the memories they made together. He also loved his pets, who were described in his obituary as constant companions who brought him comfort and happiness.

Duckworth is survived by six children: Zach Morris (Lindsay), Ashton Goines, Logan Duckworth (Kayla), Kayla Starkey, Michael Starkey (Mikayla), and Matt Starkey (Teresa). He also leaves behind four grandchildren — Jax, Raiden, Dane and Dimitri — as well as a granddaughter who was on the way.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Naomi “Pauline” Kish Scheuvront; siblings Sherri Sibley, Christine Ward (Jody), Greg Duckworth (Rhonda), Wendy Adams (Mike), Traci White (Steve), Jeff Duckworth (Jenny), and stepsisters Sheri Summerfield (Forrest) and Dusti Sayre (Dana).

His beloved pets Chester, Lucy, Sloan and Tank also survive him. Duckworth was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Keith Duckworth, and his father-in-law, Robert “Bob” Lee Scheuvront. His family described his love of family, music and the outdoors as a lasting part of the legacy he leaves behind.
