While talking about The Accountant 2 with costar Jon Bernthal on MSNBC's Morning Joe, the Oscar-winning actor spit out some telling words.
Ben Affleck's hint on failed marriage
"The people you love the most drive you the most crazy," shared the Argo director. He was shedding light on the way his character interacts with Jon's character in the sequel; they play brothers in the film. His remarks came after the Good Will Hunting star and Lopez's divorce was settled in the Los Angeles Superior Court on January 6, months after she filed for the separation last August, marking the end of their two-year marriage.ALSO READ: Katy Perry's space mission was a PR stunt? Affleck added, "And the humour is rooted in that relationship."
Also in the interview Ben cleared up that he is a 'happy' person despite photographs of him looking glum when out on the town.
This comes a week after Ben told Entertainment Tonight he thinks Lopez is 'spectacular.'
'For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,' the star explained.
'I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s an enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.'

In the wake of their divorce, the “Hustlers” actress moved into an $18 million home near Los Angeles, per People. Affleck, on the other hand, purchased a $20 million pad in the Pacific Palisades in August 2024 prior to his ex-wife’s divorce filing.
