York was initially charged with engaging in prostitution

As per reports, York's case initially involved a charge of engaging in prostitution. Prosecutors later amended that charge to misdemeanor disorderly conduct before he entered his no-contest plea.

The second charge, possessing criminal tools, remained part of the case. Court records, as per CNN, do not specify what the alleged criminal tools were.

Reports citing court documents said York had responded to an online advertisement and allegedly arranged to pay $140 for sexual activity with a woman. The allegation was part of the circumstances surrounding his initial arrest; York ultimately pleaded no contest to the amended misdemeanor charges.
