2026 PGA Tour Championship: Schedule, how to watch, players, tee times, field and prize details

The final tournament of 2026 PGA Tour season, the Tour Championship, is set to take place at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, with the FedExCup title on the line. The top 30 golfers in the FedExCup standings will compete in the Championship, with Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Wyndham Clark, Tommy Fleetwood and Xander Schauffele among the biggest names competing.

Rory McIlroy chasing a fourth FedExCup title

Rory McIlroy enters the 2026 Tour Championship with a chance to make FedExCup history. The Northern Irish star is the only three-time FedExCup champion and is looking to become the first player to win the title four times.

McIlroy is ranked No. 11 in the FedExCup standings and will open the tournament alongside Xander Schauffele, who is No. 12. Their first-round tee time is scheduled for 12:54 p.m. ET on Thursday.

McIlroy has one victory this season, but it came at the Masters, giving him another major championship to add to his career résumé.
