GE gets $321.7 million U.S. Navy engine order

General Electric Co has won a $321.7 million U.S. Navy contract modification for 84 F-414-GE-400 engines and 10 engine fan modules for F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft.

WASHINGTON: General Electric Co has won a $321.7 million U.S. Navy contract modification for 84 F-414-GE-400 engines and 10 engine fan modules for F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft, the Defense Department said Friday. Work under the deal is expected to be completed in December 2009, the Pentagon said in its daily digest of contract summaries.
