Eurozone inflation, unemployment rates rise

LONDON: Official data show that the inflation and unemployment rates in the 16-country eurozone have risen.

Eurostat, the EU' statistics agency, said Friday that the unemployment rate edged up to 10.1 per cent in September from 10 per cent in August.

The annual inflation rate rose to 1.9 per cent in October from 1.8 per cent in September.
