Demand for central probe into HMT land deal

President of New Trade Union Initiative V B Cherian on Thursday demanded a probe by a central agency into the controversial HMT land deal for cyber city.

KOCHI: President of New Trade Union Initiative V B Cherian on Thursday demanded a probe by a central agency into the controversial HMT land deal for cyber city.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Cherian said if the trade unions were not vigilant issues like the HMT land deal would reccur.

He said the probe should be entrusted to a central agency to bring out all facts to light.

Any type of contruction at the controversial cyber city site would not be allowed, he said.
