Citigroup's John Longley leaves: Memo

John Longley, chief executive of Citigroup Inc's private bank for the United States and Canada, has left the company, according to an internal memo.

NEW YORK: John Longley, chief executive of Citigroup Inc's private bank for the United States and Canada, has left the company, according to an internal memo.

Longley will be replaced on an interim basis by Richard Ditizio and Mark Connolly, the memo said. Ditizio is currently head of Citigroup Private Bank's high net worth group in the United States and Canada.

Connolly is currently head of Citigroup Global Wealth Management's US lending businesses, Citi Fiduciary Services, and the private bank's banking activities.

A Citigroup spokesman confirmed the contents of the memo and declined further comment.
