Citibank begins operations in Nicaragua
Citibank is up and running in Nicaragua.

MANAGUA, Nicaragua: Citibank is up and running in Nicaragua.
Citigroup Inc. announced in a statement Monday that it has begun operations after buying Nicaragua's Grupo Financiero Uno.
Citibank also recently opened branches in El Salvador and Honduras after acquiring local banks there.
Based in New York, Citigroup has some 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 100 countries.
