Citi appoints Curtin as head North American investor sales

Citigroup Inc has appointed Patrick Curtin as North American head of investor client sales management.

NEW YORK: Citigroup Inc has appointed Patrick Curtin as North American head of investor client sales management.

Curtin would head Citi's North American sales team, which deals with investors and investment managers, the company said in a statement.

He has 25 years of executive leadership in the securities business and capital markets. Curtin would report to Richard MF Ernesti, global head of investor client sales, and Julie Monaco, North America region head of global transaction services.

"We continue to hire key industry talent across our business and we're very pleased that Patrick is joining Citi in this key leadership role," Citi Global Head of Securities and Fund Services Neeraj Sahai said.

Prior to joining Citi, Curtin was head of strategic planning for the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) that provides a communication platform to international banks.
