WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque joined US President Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday, July 31, for the signing of a new executive order to expand the Presidential Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will oversee the initiative, which revives the fitness challenge that ran from 1966 to 2012.

During the ceremony held in the Roosevelt Room, President Trump acknowledged Triple H as a long-time friend and praised his role in promoting health and wellness. “He’s a man who you’re not going to mess around with... It’s a great honor to have [him],” Trump said, according to AFP.

The Game, a 14-time world champion and longtime promoter of youth engagement in sports, was among several athletes invited to the event. His brief address was about the importance of inspiring healthy habits in the next generation.

Wrestling and politics

In a moment that quickly went viral, Triple H performed his signature water spray pose at the White House. The official White House social media account posted the clip with the caption, “ARE YOU READY… TO MAKE AMERICA FIT AGAIN,” referencing both the wrestler’s famous entrance and Trump’s campaign slogan.

The clip, which shows Triple H spitting water into the air at the entrance of the White House, sparked criticism online for what many viewed as inappropriate behavior at a national symbol of governance.

“This is disgusting. Spitting outside the White House. @TripleH SHAME ON YOU!!!” wrote @MrKrisSteel, reflecting widespread disapproval.

“How is this the actual White House posting? wtf actual fuck is happening,” said @JamesPotterAI, questioning the seriousness of the administration’s messaging.

Others shared memes and jokes, with one tweet reading: “Waiting for Kane to come from behind with a chair shot!” mocking the blending of pro wrestling with politics.
