WHO'S ELIGIBILE FOR OAS PAYMENTS?

The amount you receive from Old Age Security (OAS) is determined by factors such as your age, income level, and how long you have lived in Canada. To reflect rising living costs, OAS payments have been increased for the April to June period this year.

For the April 2026 payment, as reported by Narcity, the maximum monthly benefit is set at $743.05 for individuals aged 65 to 74, while those aged 75 and older can receive up to $817.36.
