Jackson, a 19-year-old man, was reportedly detained in Palmdale, a city located north of Los Angeles. Jackson is among the five people detained in relation to the Hollywood attack on February 24, 2021. Last month, the US Marshals Service offered a bounty of up to $5,000 for details that would help in capturing him. One of the three males suspected in the crime, who was arrested with Jackson, entered a not guilty plea to second-degree robbery.

The prosecution asserts that Jackson and the other accused had been searching for pricey French bulldogs. Ryan Fischer was walking Lady Gaga's dogs near Sunset Boulevard. Lady Gaga's three dogs, Asia, Gustav, and Koji, were also with Fischer.
