Lotto Max jackpot climbs to $55M as total prize pool hits $59M for Feb. 17 draw

The Lotto Max jackpot is set to climb again, with players across Canada eyeing a massive prize pool ahead of the next draw. According to Loto-Québec, the upcoming Lotto Max draw scheduled for Tuesday, February 17 will feature a total prize pool of $59 million, including a $55 million Lotto Max jackpot and an estimated four Maxmillions, each worth $1 million.

Québec has long been one of the strongest regions for Lotto Max winners. Since the game’s launch in 2009, players in the province have collectively won more than $4.144 billion, as per the corporation. The province has seen 50 Lotto Max jackpot wins, including three historic $70 million prizes, the largest jackpots ever claimed in Québec, won in the February 25 and October 9, 2020, and June 7, 2022 draws. In addition, Québec players have landed one $65 million jackpot, four $60 million jackpots, five $55 million jackpots, and ten $50 million jackpots.

Beyond the headline-grabbing Lotto Max jackpot wins, Québec players have also claimed 254 Maxmillions prizes worth $1 million each, along with 153 shared Maxmillions prizes. Draw results are available online through Loto-Québec’s official website.
