Lady A postpones upcoming tour to support singer Charles Kelley's sobriety journey

American singer-songwriter Charles Kelley's sobriety has forced musical group Lady A to postpone their upcoming tour.'Request Line Tour', featuring Lady A members Hillary Scott, aged 36, and Dave Haywood, aged 40 - has been postponed until next year as the country trio supports Charles, aged 40, in his sobriety journey.

The trio of "Need You Now" fame stated that they have the greatest joy when they are on the road with their fans, but this was a critical decision. They are a family, and they are proud that Charles has begun his journey toward sobriety.

They continued to become the most robust, creative, and healthiest band that they can be, and they will walk through this with the support of their team and families.

They stated that it is early to say what lies ahead on this journey, but they are determined to make it succeed. They thanked their fans for their patience, saying they are looking forward to making 2023 their best year.



Following Lady A's and the singer Lady A's out-of-court settlement, Charles has been facing alcohol issues, so he is now embarking on this journey. A Nashville federal court dismissed a lawsuit involving the group and solo artist Anita White on January 31.

In response to the Black Lives Matter movement, the band formerly Lady Antebellum changed its name in 2020. The word Antebellum had been associated with slavery in the USA. After being known as Lady Antebellum for so long, the group admitted they were "so naive."
