Vaughan shooting leaves two dead outside residence on Kaiser Drive; homicide investigation underway

Two people were shot dead in Vaughan on Wednesday evening, May 13 according to York Regional Police. Police said officers responded to reports of shots fired at around 5:33 p.m. outside a residence on Kaiser Drive in Vaughan.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

York Regional Police said in a social media post that homicide investigators have now taken over the case as authorities work to determine what led to the shooting.



A heavy police presence is expected to remain in the area for several hours, and residents have been asked to avoid the neighborhood while the investigation continues.

Police have not yet released the identities of the victims or any information about possible suspects.
