Japanese star Mei Nagano accused of two-timing Kim Mu Jun and Kei Tanaka

Rising Japanese star Mei Nagano is currently weathering a storm of public scrutiny following allegations of romantic entanglements with not one, but potentially two actors.

The unfolding drama has captivated entertainment circles in both Japan and South Korea.

The initial spark of speculation surrounding Nagano's personal life ignited with rumors linking her romantically to her current co-star in the TBS Sunday drama "Caster," Korean actor Kim Mu Jun.


Their on-screen chemistry, in the series that premiered just 10 days ago on April 13, fueled whispers amongst fans and media alike, with some suggesting Kim might be Nagano's off-screen partner.

However, these nascent rumors took a sharp turn on April 23, with a denial from Kim Mu Jun's agency, 9Ato Entertainment.

In a statement to Hankyung, the agency firmly clarified, "Kim Moo Joon and Mei Nagano are just close colleagues”..

Japanese weekly magazine Shūkan Bunshun dropped a report, accompanied by photographs allegedly depicting Nagano and married Japanese actor Kei Tanaka in intimate moments.

The magazine's claims of an ongoing affair have sent a tidal wave of backlash crashing down on Tanaka, a father of two who has been married since 2011.

Once a beloved figure in Japan, particularly after his breakthrough role in the BL drama "Ossan's Love," Tanaka now faces significant public criticism.

Shūkan Bunshun further alleged that Nagano had invited a Korean male co-star from her current drama to her private residence.

Born in 1999, the talented and visually striking Mei Nagano is known for her roles in popular projects like "Daytime Shooting Star" and "Half Blue”.
