Starting May 30, 2025, all Sunwing Vacations customers will now fly on WestJet-operated flights as part of a new travel update from the tour company. This shift is part of Sunwing's integration into the WestJet Group. The change affects all new and existing Sunwing vacation packages booked for travel starting May 29.

What does it mean for travellers?

Canadians booking their summer getaways through Sunwing Vacations will now fly exclusively on WestJet aircraft instead of Sunwing’s own planes. This also applies to customers who have already booked trips for dates from May 30 onward.

Vacation package prices and booking procedures have not changed. Travellers can still book packages online, through travel agents, or over the phone.

Where can you go?

The updated vacation packages include flights to 13 sunny destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean, such as Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Punta Cana, Montego Bay, Cayo Coco, and many more.

  • Customer Service: Sunwing remains the primary contact for vacation bookings, cancellations, and support.

Why the Change?
