Barrie Police launch search for missing teen and two adults, release photos amid ongoing Investigation; details inside

Barrie police are searching for three missing individuals, including a teenage girl and two adults. On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the department shared photos of all three on social media in an effort to locate them.

In separate posts on X, Barrie police shared information about the three people along with their photos. The first is Haylie, 14. “The Barrie police are looking for Haylie, a missing 14-year-old. She was seen wearing a black sweater with a spider web logo, black cargo pants, and black Nikes with a green checkmark design,” the service said in the post.




Barrie police, in a separate investigation, reported that they are searching for a man and a woman believed to be connected.




Mercy, 39, and Erik, 25, have both been reported missing, and authorities say the two may be together.




Meanwhile in a separate incident, a 50-year-old man from Fredericton, New Brunswick (N.B)., has died following a single all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Durham Bridge, N.B.

“On May 30, 2026 (Saturday) at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Keswick RCMP responded to a report of an ATV crash on Dunbar Road, in Durham Bridge,” RCMP said in a press. Authorities believe that the crash occurred when the driver of the ATV lost control of his vehicle. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the ATV, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

“Members of the Nashwaak Valley Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and the New Brunswick Coroner’s office also attended the scene. A New Brunswick RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death,” the release stated. The investigation remained ongoing at the time of filing of this report.
