As Adam Sandler tees off again in Happy Gilmore 2, fans are getting more than just a nostalgic sequel. Look closely, and you’ll spot a familiar face, Jackie Sandler, Adam’s wife of over two decades, continuing her long-running tradition of appearing in his films.

From playing a waitress in Big Daddy to popping up in comedies like Hubie Halloween and Murder Mystery, Jackie has quietly built a quirky on-screen legacy, one cameo at a time.

While Adam reprises his beloved role as the temperamental golfer Happy Gilmore, this sequel has a family twist: not just Jackie, but their daughters Sadie and Sunny also appear. Netizens are buzzing that in Sandler’s world, filmmaking is often a family affair, and Jackie, who started as a model before meeting Adam on a film set in 1999, has been his “forever girl” both on and off screen ever since.

Jackie Sandler, born Jackie Titone on September 24, 1974, in Coral Springs, Florida, began her career as a model. Her first break in acting came in 1999 with Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, produced by Rob Schneider.

That same year, she played a waitress in Big Daddy, where she met Adam Sandler. The meeting would mark the beginning of a lifelong relationship.

A love story set on a set

Jackie and Adam met during ‘Big Daddy’ and began dating soon after. They married on June 22, 2003, in a Jewish ceremony at Dick Clark’s Malibu estate. Their bulldog, Meatball, served as the ring bearer.

Before their wedding, Jackie converted to Judaism, a gesture Adam once called one of the greatest gifts of his life.

Family life and onscreen cameos

Jackie and Adam have two daughters, Sadie, born in 2006, and Sunny, born in 2008. Both children have appeared in several of Adam Sandler’s films, including Hubie Halloween, Murder Mystery, and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.

Jackie herself has continued to take small roles in Adam’s movies over the years.

She’s appeared in The Do-Over, 50 First Dates, The Wrong Missy, Grown Ups, and others, often as a supporting character like a teacher, flight attendant, or waitress.

Still going strong after two decades

Adam and Jackie recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. The actor shared throwback photos on Instagram, referring to Jackie as his “forever girl.”

In 2020, while accepting the Film Tribute Award at the Gotham Awards, Adam read a speech written by their daughters. It humorously praised Jackie’s patience with what they described as Adam’s “crazy mood swings.”

Jackie continues to support Adam’s career both on and off screen. She frequently joins him at red carpet events, including the recent premiere of Happy Gilmore 2 in July 2025.
