Volkswagen has not decided on when to end the double CEO role of Oliver Blume, who heads both the carmaker as well as luxury division Porsche , the CEO told reporters on Sunday ahead of the Munich auto show.

Responding to questions about the dual role, which has drawn criticism from unions and investors, Blume said there had been no decision on a timeline or a potential successor.

Asked whether the plan was for him to give up his CEO role at Porsche to end the dual role, which the carmaker confirmed was of temporary nature, Blume said there was no statement on the matter.
