US allows oil company Chevron to resume some activity in Venezuela: Official

The Treasury Department said it would allow Chevron to resume limited oil extraction operations in Venezuela.

The United States eased oil-related sanctions against Venezuela Saturday as the President Nicolas Maduro's government and the opposition announced a humanitarian agreement on education, health and other social issues.
