The 10th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, which started on Tuesday in Zhuhai in Guangdong Province and ended today, witnessed sales of 227 aircraft of different types.

Deals worth about $23.4 billion were signed during the event, state-run Xinhua news agency quoted show organisers as saying. Pakistan defence officials, who took part in the show, said a number of countries evinced interest to buy the JF-17 thunder jets.

China also showcased its stealth fighter J-31 aircraft, besides some of its new advanced fighter jets.

More than 700 aviation and aerospace manufacturers from 41 countries and regions attended the six-day air show, which attracted a record audience of nearly 410,000 people, the organisers said.

More than 130 various aircrafts were displayed at the air show in China and stunt flying was performed by female fighter pilots from the China Air Force with J-10 fighters.
