Porsche China to recall 14,571 vehicles due to faulty camshaft
The cars carry safety hazards as the tap bolt on the camshaft adjuster may loosen or break, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Imported Panamera models made from April 2009 to September 2011 and two Cayenne models manufactured from March 2010 to September 2011 are among the recalled cars, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.
The Panamera models are generally priced between USD 78,100 and USD 200,500 while the Cayman models come within a range of USD 52,600 to USD 84,600.

Porsche said it will replace the defective components for free. The recall process is scheduled to start on April 20 this year.
