Panama's government has closed a 1.2 billion euros ($1.29 billion) loan with a two-year maturity with a subsidiary of Bank of America, the Economy Ministry said a statement on Thursday.

Panama's government has closed a 1.2 billion euros ($1.29 billion) loan with a two-year maturity with a subsidiary of Bank of America, the Economy Ministry said a statement on Thursday.

The ministry indicated that the financing, which will be disbursed in its dollar equivalent, was authorized on Friday.
