Maserati to recall 20,000 vehicle on suspicion of defect, beginning 13 June
Luxury carmaker Maserati will recall 19,970 vehicles in China over a defect in rear wheels resulting in positioning failure and loss of vehicle control.

The affected vehicles include imported Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli models manufactured between March 22, 2013 and October 29 last year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.
The recall is set to begin June 13, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
A defective design of the rear wheels may result in positioning failure and loss of vehicle control, increasing safety risks, the watchdog said.
Maserati promised to check and repair the vehicles free of cost.
